More Baby Photos!

I have the most awesome job! I love that I get to meet lots of new people and share a little part of their special day! I wanted to share a few photos from a recent session. I loved this little one and her parents~ they were the nicest people. I still have some sessions in October~ so if you know anyone needing photos send them my way! Right now is a good time to get photos for your Christmas cards!

Anniversary Weekend~ Gatlinburg, TN

Every year my husband and I celebrate our anniversary by taking a trip to Gatlinburg, TN to renew our wedding vows. This was our 9th wedding~ and it was beautiful. We were married at the Douglas Dam overlook. I am so lucky to have that wonderful man... I don't have to worry about inflating his ego~ I don't think he reads by blog! :-) I just wanted to update my blogspot because it has been awhile. Here are a few of the fun colorful photos from our trip. I really loved "Messing with Satchquatch"

This is a beautiful chapel that was for sale~ I think my dream job would be to own this, organize weddings, and take the photos! In case anyone is interested in buying it for me...let me know! :-)

A Weekend Drive

This weekend my husband and I were lucky enough to have a sitter for the day. We decided to take a long drive and find something to eat. I love to eat at small (non-chain) restaurants. If you are ever near Hawk's Nest, WV, I suggest you try out Chimney Corner Cafe. The food was wonderful and the staff were the friendliest, hard working people I have seen in a long time. Now that I have plugged the yummy food, I wanted to share a couple of photos from our drive. I have been playing with my new software program for processing photos, and I really like the wild results! Next weekend I am working a class reunion~ pics to follow soon!

It has been a while since I update my blog! I must admit~ I just forgot about it. I have been really busy with kids, photos, and travel. I just wanted to share a few photos from shoots I have done in the last few weeks. Please check out my facebook page to see updates on specials!

Disney Vacation

Our family went on our first Disney Vacation a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful. It was so much more fun than I had even imagined. We also went on our first plane rides. My husband has flown many times, but I must admit I was extremely terrified to fly. My daughter REALLY wanted this trip, so I had to overcome my fear. It was so much smoother than I would have ever expected, and the baby slept the entire way to Florida. We were so blessed during this trip, the weather was wonderful and the people were great. We had a few meals with characters so we were able to meet Pooh, Tiger, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mater, Green Army Men, Buzz and Woody. It was an amazing vacation, and I can't wait to make my husband go back soon!

Caylee was kissed by princess Ariel~ she was so excited!

My little man grew up so much on this trip!

Dear Mr. Sunshine

I just wanted to thank the sunshine for finally coming out and warming up my little garden. It is such a nice day and I am looking forward to getting out this weekend and taking photos with my awesome new camera!

This weekend CCCSO and the Huntington Hammer are having a 5K Run/Walk to support Meals On Wheels for the seniors of Cabell County. This is an amazing cause~ and if you have the time please come out and run!

Oh Blog~ how I have missed you!

It has been a crazy cold winter and I have neglected my blog for far too long. I have been so busy with kids, school, photos, and planning for our upcoming vacation. We are taking the kids to Disney World for the first time and I am so excited. We have decided to keep it a secret until we are getting on the plane~ but I promised to video it so everyone can see their reactions. Caylee has been begging to go for months and she thinks that we are going to try to take the trip next year because we have already rented a beach house for this summer. I have been working on outfits for her and her American girl doll to wear on the trip~ and I have bought Jaxson some really cool Toy Story PJ's. I will follow up with photos soon! I recently upgraded my equipment and I am so excited to try to wear out my camera on the trip!
