Crazy Week

I feel that I have been neglecting my blog this week. I have been doing things with the munchkins. It is sad that when you get old you look at things in such a negative way. It seems like summer is almost over- I am counting my time according to the events that are coming up. I am also having a birthday in 2 days! :-) I will be 31 on the 31st. I will be out and about with the camera this weekend and I promise to post some photos. I also have a bunch of new props for baby photos- if you have friends with babies send them my way!!! :-)

Baby Jayce and his brother Jordan

Yesterday I met the nicest group of people. Baby Jayce and his brother Jordan, along with their mom, uncle, grandparents, and great grandmother. If you look under the Newborn tab you can see some of the shots from the session- I tried not to make Jayce mad, but as you can see a couple of times he told me to stop taking pictures. Jayce was 4 days old yesterday and it was so much fun to take his picture! Jordan was such a beautiful little boy, but he has hit that age where sitting still for pictures really seems silly! :-) He had more important things to do, but I still managed to catch him.

Nature Shots from Sherwood

Here are a few more pictures I took on our family trip to Sherwood. I love the process of taking a great picture. You have to see a great shot, capture it at the right moment, and make sure you have manually set your camera to the correct settings. Most people never take their camera off automatic setting, and they do not understand what goes into taking an amazing photograph!

This past weekend I tried to take some pictures of Casey for his people parents. He wasn't the most willing subject, but I got a few good ones. Here are a couple of shots because I promised his Dad I would make him a star!

Sherwood Lake

This past weekend we took a family trip to Sherwood Lake Campground. It was so nice to get away from cell phones, computers, and television. I continue to work on learning how to take pictures everyday- here are a few of the shots I captured!

Little Miss Katie and Family

Yesterday I took pictures at the sweetest wedding and while I was there I had the opportunity to take some pictures of Miss Katie and her brother Matthew. I just wanted to post a couple of teasers! I will post a few pics from the wedding and our family trip later!

A pictures worth a thousand words!

I have been working to add pictures to my blog today, and I am really pleased that I am getting it together. I have also decided that I need to get more work- so if you know anyone that needs pictures send them my way. I can't wait to take pictures at a couple of weddings in the next few weeks. I also have planned an engagement shoot, and a portrait session. As always I will be taking tons of pictures of my little ones and I will post them soon.

Almost Up

I have been working on getting my blogspot going today! I am so excited to be taking pictures at a couple of upcoming weddings. I will also be taking a weekend trip with the family and I will post photos from that as soon as I can. I am going to take a photography workshop at the end of the month and I am busy keeping the kids entertained for summer. So much to get done!
